Well good morning world!

Welcome to Mina Kusak Art. A portfolio website and gallery store for my paintings and art creations. Over here? You found my art journey blog.

This is where you will get to follow along with me on my journey through the world of becoming a professional artist. I am someone who has dabbled in different artistic mediums for my entire life. But due to family and societal pressure never pursued art as a career. Traumatic experiences made me doubt myself, and tell myself I was never good enough.

It wasn't until the age of 40 I began to embrace the fact that I was an artist. And not again until the age of 42 to embrace the fact that I had talent in painting wall art.

Learning the ropes has been hard, but rewarding at the same time.

Since it did take me so long to realize where my own personal art journey has been pointing me all along, I have no formal fine art education. And as a result self learning many of the techniques and methods has been a journey onto itself. But it's one I'm willing to share in hopes of inspiring others to embrace the artist within themselves!

So how often will I be posting?

I will try to post in the blog at least weekly, giving more in depth updates on the journey, my current art projects, and my thoughts than I do on social media platforms.

You will also be able to find additional posts about upcoming shows, events, places you can find my art, and places you can come meet me in person!

I look forward to sharing the journey of Mina Kusak Art with you as I figure it out and take it myself. And perhaps eventually inspire you to take a similar journey of your own, whether it be in art or whatever your own personal passion may be!
